Parking: Teams participating in Challenge C: You’re Gonna Flip and Challenge D: Do or DI will find parking closes to their sites by parking in the student parking lot off of Logan just north of the school. Challenge B:DI-BOT, Challenge E: Breaking DI News and Rising Stars the closest entrance to your sites is the main gym entrance. Challenge A: Direct DIposit, please bring your props into the main gym through the back gym door. Signs will direct you. We will have a prop drop off area in front of the gym entrance – there will be NO Parking in this area. Please be aware that there is NO street parking in the neighborhood around the school – you will be ticketed by the Englewood Police.
Our Recommendation: Drop your props off early and park in the student lot.
Please Note: Challenge D – Do or DI has been moved to room 301. More space for the kids to perform in!
Food: Englewood High School Booster Club is providing lunchs for teams to purchase. The General Menu: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Chips, Nachos, Popcorn, Donuts, Coffee, Soda, Tea (hot and cold). They are doing a Meal Deal which will include your choice of a Hot dog, Hamburger, Cheeseburger or Pizza, Chips and a drink for $5.00 to $6.00 depending on what you choose.
Team Party and Awards Ceremony: The Party begins at 4:30 for ALL teams. This is your chance to celebrate your Destination ImagiNation year. Not everyone has the opportunity to move on to the state level but in our opinion every team is a winner! Come Join Sweetness and Company for the Celebration! At 5:15 pm please escort all Rising Star team members to the Commons Area to meet Wendy Frenzel our Rising Stars Challenge Master. Our Rising Star team members will kick-off the Awards Ceremony at 5:30 pm with the Rising Stars Parade, presentation of Rising Star medals and the Fabulous Toody-Ta Dance!
