Instant Challenge Day – Schedule & General Information

Thank you to everyone who signed up for South Metro’s IC Day. We have planned a wonderful learning experience for our teams. I have sent emails out to all the team managers with the schedule but have heard from several that the emails didn’t get through to them. General Team Information:

• Please DO NOT arrive before the check-in time. There is very little space for teams to just hang out and wait inside. The forecast is supposed to be 44 degrees on Saturday so all teams will need to remain outside until the check in time.
• At the Team Managers discretion, parents are invited to watch but we ask that ALL siblings be left at home. Remember – this is a learning opportunity for your team. If having parents in the room is too big a distraction – don’t invite them.
• Parking – there is a parking lot on the North side of the campus and another on the South side behind the buildings.
• Check-in is in the Middle School building behind the large main building in the center of the campus.
• Each team will rotate through four different challenges during their time slot. Please let your team members know it is important for them to ask questions of the appraisers. Remind them that they won’t get this opportunity during the tournament – but today we’re here to learn about IC!

Information for Volunteers:

• All teams are required to provide a volunteer to represent your teams as part of your registration.
• Volunteers need to be at St. Mary’s Academy (map) at 8:00 am to receive training. Coffee and donuts provided
• Parking – there is a parking lot on the North side of the campus and another on the South side behind the buildings.
• We will be meeting in the Middle School building for training and then will be splitting into smaller groups to work on individual challenges.
• Teams will begin at 9:30, two Cores will complete at 12:15  and three Cores will continue until 2:00. If you are in a Core continuing until 2:00pm we will provide lunch for you.
