Our goal is to help team members and team managers build Instant Challenge skills, comfort working in front of the appraisers and a general understanding of how Instant Challenge is presented during the tournament day. Please read through following information to make sure you are aware of the details of the day:</p>
<p>Location: St Mary&#8217;s Academy &#8211; Middle School Building<br />

Date: February 11, 2012</p>
<ul>
<li>Parking: There is a large parking lot on the North side of the property. Parking around the back will give you easy access to the Middle School building.</li>
<li>Please DO NOT show up any more than 15 minutes before your scheduled First Challenge time. There is no place for teams to wait indoors without disrupting the teams who are working. You will have to wait outside until we begin the check-in process. EVEN IF THE WEATHER IS COLD!</li>
<li>No more than two (2) adults may attend with your team. We have found bringing parents, siblings, babies etc hinders the teams learning experience. Only the team and 2 adults will be allowed into the building, all others must wait outside.</li>
<li>Because this is a learning opportunity we suggest you video the team as they go through the four challenges.  It&#8217;s difficult to remember everything the appraisers say to the team. This also gives you the opportunity show parents what Instant Challenge looks like.</li>
<li>The appraiser representing your team will receive a separate email with instructions, times etc.</li>
<li>If your Check-In Time is 9:30 &#8211; First Challenge begins at 9:45  &#8211; Finish at 10:45</li>
<li>If your Check-In Time is 11:00 &#8211; First Challenge begins at 11:15  &#8211; Finish at 12:15</li>
<li>If your Check-In Time is 1:00 &#8211; First Challenge begins at 1:15 &#8211; Finish at 2:15</li>

<h2>Appraiser Information:</h2>
<p>As part of the registration process for IC Day each team must provide an appraiser for the day. We CANNOT provide adequate training without this appraiser support. We very much appreciate your time being donated to South Metro!</p>
<p>Instant Challenge training will begin at 8:00 am in the Middle School Building located next to the gym on the St. Mary&#8217;s Academy Campus.</p>
<p>We will do a general Instant Challenge Training and then break  into your core group to review the challenge you&#8217;ll be doing with the teams. We&#8217;ve tried to schedule everyone to be able to work with the team that you are representing. Teams begin checking-in at 9:30 am and challenges begin at 9:45. There will be two morning sessions, then we break for lunch, followed by one afternoon session. Coffee/tea and donuts will be available in the morning. Lunch will be provided as will water. If you&#8217;d like something else to drink feel free to bring it with you. Below is your room assignment and the Core you&#8217;ll be working in:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are fortunate to have a lot of students participating in Destination ImagiNation in the Denver Metro area. The results are that we have 3 large tournament scheduled the same day as ours. We&#8217;d like to find some way to prevent this from happening but the reality is&#8230;.. we are at the mercy of the school donating their buildings for the date they give us for tournament. If you happen to know of someone who would love to spend a Saturday with amazing kids we&#8217;d love to have them come appraise! We have two training dates available or if you are interested in appraising Instant Challenge, IC Day on February 11th at St Mary&#8217;s Academy is great for hands on training. (Contact <a href="mailto:Peter.Zaemes@jeppesen.com" target="_blank">Pete</a> if you&#8217;re interested in appraising for IC Day)</p>
<p>We are also looking for volunteers to help with the sales table, helping out in the appraiser lunch room, score room etc. If you have a student needing community service hours we love to sign those volunteer sheets!</p>

There is no charge to you – it is paid for through   your Colorado Affiliate fees. You only need to attend one training but   are welcome to come to as many as you’d like. Attending a training is   not necessary to manage a team but we strongly encourage you to come.   Your time will be well spent. We will give you the tools to help your   kids and you have a happy and successful DI year.</p>
<p>Additional resource materials will be available for sale at  the trainings.</p>

<p>This webinar will be exactly the same material and presenters as the &#8220;Verses!  Foiled Again&#8221; Team Manager training that will be presented live in Denver on November 13, 2010.  If you are unable to get to Denver&#8217;s Team Manager trainings because of time and distance constraints, here&#8217;s your opportunity to get the training you and your DI Team want and need for the &#8220;Verses!  Foiled Again&#8221; Challenge.</p>
<p>We will make this training as close to a &#8220;live performance&#8221; as we can.  We will answer questions both via e-mail (chat feature) and over the audio connection as much as possible.  If we are unable to answer your question because we are overwhelmed, we will try to respond to your questions directly after the Webinar.</p>
<p>The Team Manager Training Session will be November 16, 2010 at 6:30 PM and all you need are your trusty computer (for the video) and a set of speakers or a headset (for the audio) parts of the presentation.  The audio and video will be handled over the Internet so you won&#8217;t need an additional phone line for audio connectivity.  A high speed or Broadband Computer Internet connection is recommended.  Dial-up web access will not be an acceptable connection for this training.</p>
<p>Once you receive your notice of Registration, please do not share it with others &#8211; it is uniquely yours and I am not sure if any given registration can log in more than once.</p>

<p>This is your chance to get up-to-date information about specific  challenges as well as to learn new skills that will help your team be  successful.  The challenges are new every year, so there is always  something new to learn. Morning workshops are scheduled so novice Team  Managers can meet in separate groups to get their questions answered and  more experienced managers can get the information they need.  In the  afternoon, we will have skills workshops for team managers at all levels  and years of involvement.</p>
<p>You are welcome come for as much or as little of the day as you want,  but it’s important to know that TM’s who do not attend training often  miss out on important information that helps their teams understand the  challenges and be successful.</p>
<p>Team Manager training is our chance to support you as you take on the  most important challenge of all – helping your kids to reach their full  potential.</p>
<p>There are two dates for training; November 13, 2010 and January 8,  2011. Choose to attend one or both trainings.</p>
<p>Remember: The cost of this training  is included in your membership and affiliate fees!</p>
